Stamps, Left to right:
20 Franc stamp illustrated with a photo of the Marae 'Ãrahurahu, a structure which has been restored and which originally served as a meeting place or a temple, located in the Island of Tahiti.
The stamp is part of a four stamp souvenir sheet (20; 100; 130; 140 Franc) issued on 08NOV2023, dedicated to tourist sites of Tahiti.
The Iscnura taitensis is a little damselfly endemic to Tahiti. Its photo features on the 10 Franc stamp issued on 22SEP2023, as part of a two stamp set (10; 100 Franc) dedicated to edemic insects of Tahiti.
the 140 Franc stamp is also part of the "Tourist sites of Tahiti" issue above mentioned, being dedicated to the Wave of Teahupoo, a very famous wave amongst the surfing community, which occurs offshore of the commune of Taiarapu-Ouest, in Tahiti.
The Stamps are obliterated with the postmark of the Philatelic centre of the commune of Faaa, Tahiti.
