Oooops... there was yet another Season card I haven't yet posted here. Here it goes with my apologies to Jaap for having it out of chronological order and my sincere thanks and best wishes for the year.  Hartelijk dank, Jaap!

The "International1" stamp is the 2024 Dutch EUROPA issue, dated of 13MAY2024. The common  theme for the year being "Underwater Fauna and Flora", Post NL chose the European bitterling (Rhodeus amarus)  to illustrate its issue.

The European bitterling is a freshwater fish of the Acheilognathidae family, measuring up to 10 cm,  which can be found from the Rhone River basin in France to the Neva River in Russia.

The mechanical postmark applied in Amsterdam is quite festive also with its pair of pine trees...

With such a nice image you don't have to speak Dutch (as is my case) to know that someone's is wishing us well...
